Kids’ learning content needs to be clear, warm, and easy to stay with. The right tone depends on the piece, the age group, and how much personality the material can carry.
Bright, engaging reads
For educational content that needs energy, clarity, and enough lift to keep kids listening.
Calm, supportive guidance
For social-emotional, values-based, or gentler material that needs steadiness and care.
Older-kid / teen reads
Natural, current, and believable, without sounding overly performed.
Character-based learning
Distinct, grounded voices that help stories, dialogue, and lesson-based content feel more connected.
If you’ve got a reference, great. If not, send the script, a few tone notes, and anything you want to avoid.

Case Study
Helping kids’ educational dialogue feel clear, warm, and engaging
Eat for the Earth
This educational dialogue for children ages 8–11 needed two voices that felt distinct, warm, and easy to follow without tipping into anything too broad or overly “cartoony.” The older student needed an upbeat, optimistic teaching energy, while the younger student needed to feel curious, engaged, and believable alongside her.
I recorded both characters for the project, giving each a clear point of view while keeping the exchange natural and connected. The goal was to help the learning feel lively and accessible, so the information could land without losing momentum or sounding too much like a lesson.
